The swivels really are nice, I see you have them also , and give you so many more tuning options.

    Speaker terminals

No it’s not. Again a 60w station, is the correct tool. It works on 1 gage. I solder chassis grounds with it, Building tube amps. It’s all about wattage. A torch will contaminate the joint. This is not a plumbing job.

    Need some advice with wiring

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all out, and think for the whole signal flow, and why it’s like that.

A torch or a solder gun and about the worst things to use for this, a solder station with about 60 watts is the ticket , using good kestler solder WITH lead in it, skip the lead free junk. With the proper tools this is so easy, with the wrong tools you burn insulation, contaminate the joint and...

FEATURED 2004 Ram 2500 SQ Build

It’s probably tuned pretty flat, and that’s a common issue, if you have never been around a truly flat frequency response, and sound treatment . Wow, kinda baffled here. Once you get the tune right. You don’t need to mess with it. However, A bad tune you will. You may have different type tunes for different reasons, based on location, driver, passenger, different curves or tastes to tune to, and so on. A dsp is only part of the whole...

What has been the most reliable amplifier you have actually used yourself to date?

My 1964 fender vibroverb. It’s a tube amp for guitar. It has broken many times. But it is a serviceable amp. I can fix it.

Advice on Amp vs lower ohm speakers

Lowering the impedance will also lower the speakers motor control, or damping, in physics no free lunch exists. It’s all give and take.
